TURBINE FLOWMETER РСТ

PURPOSE
The PCT turbine flowmeter (hereinafter – PCT) is designed to measure volume and volume flow rate of liquid mediums having viscosity up to 100 mm2/s (sSt) in commercial operations, different technological processes, including petrochemical and food industries, heat-and-power plants, bench equipment.
FEATURES
PCT is produced in several modifications differing in type and design of the converters included in the set. PCT has independent power supply. The computer mass is 0.7 kg max.
Type of the computer climatic design is УХЛ4.2. according to state standard ГОСТ 15150-69 but at temperatures from 5 to 40ºC type of the converter climatic design is УХЛ1, ambient temperature ranges for the converter different designs are given in the table.

PRECISION CHARACTERISTICS
- Volume measurement tolerated relative error limits:
±1.0% for internal diameter Ду from 4 to 12mm;
±0.5% for internal diameter Ду from 15 to 100mm.
- Pressure loss on the converter, designed for a maximum pressure of 1.0 МPа, with liquid viscosity of 1 mm2/s at rated flow rate does not exceed 0.01 МPа (0.1 kgf/cm2); pressure loss on the converter, designed for a maximum pressure of 20 and 40 МPа, does not exceed 0.05 МПа (0.5 kgf/сm2).
- Communication line length between the converter and computer along the cable route is not more than:
25m - for РСТ without the “М” index;
50.0 м - for РСТ with the“М” index.

Recalibration interval 3 years (for non-corrosive liquids)

DESIGNATION FOR REQUISITIONING
The flowmeter designation consists of:
- abbreviation РСТ, type designation (one or two digits) of the converter included in the flowmeter complete set;
- letter “М” (for kitting with the "M" index only);
- the converter group designation according to the way of connection to the pipeline and measured liquid maximum operating pressure;
- type designation of bearings used (1 – on rolling bearings, 2 – on sliding bearings).
- In the end of the designation mentioned is the cable length provided for the converter connection to the computer: 1.5; 10; 20; 25m (1.5; 10; 20; 30; 40; 50m – with the "M" index).
- The converter group designation according to the way of connection to the pipeline and measured liquid maximum operating pressure:
1 – nipple for pressure of 40 МPа (400 kgf/сm2)
2 – nipple for pressure of 20 МPа (200 kgf/сm2)
3 – flange for pressure of 20 МPа (200 kgf/сm2)
5 – lens for pressure of 40 МPа (400 kgf/сm2)
6 – nipple for pressure of 1 МPа (10 kgf/сm2)
EXAMPLE
Example of the flowmeter designation with the ТПР15M-3-1 converter (with the flange connection to the pipeline for pressure of 20 MPa on the rolling bearings) and cable 50m long when ordering and in documents for other products where it can be used:
