Characteristics

Gas meters СГ16МТ-Р, СГ75МТ-Р are designed to measure the volume of smoothly changing flows of refined non-corrosive mono- and multicomponent gases (natural gas, associated gas with partial pressure of hydrogen sulfide of 0.01 MPa, maximum, as well as air, nitrogen, argon and others with the density of 0.67 kg/m3 under normal conditions, minimum) when used at industrial enterprises and municipal services and for custody transfer. The meter can be installed in the pipe-line horizontally and vertically with the gas flowing upwards or downwards. To refine gas from contamination the filter is to be installed in front of the meter (the size of solid particles in the gas being measured should not exceed 0.08 mm as compared to the maximum measured value). All previously produced gas meters of the СГ type are replaced completely by gas meters СГ16МТ-Р, СГ75МТ-Р according to their overall and connecting dimensions.

Owing to the improved design of the new generation gas meters the flow rate measurement range of the gas meters up to 1 : 30 was increased and metrological characteristics were enhanced. The flow rate measurement range with an error of ± 1% was increased from the range 1:5 to 1:20. At this the straight section length in front of the meter and behind it was decreased. Gas meters СГ16МТ-Р, СГ75МТ-Р are provided with the low-frequency output (reed contact) enabling its connection to the spark- safe circuit of the electronic corrector.

Number of pulses of the low-frequency output «НЧ» corresponding to the gas passing through the meter in the quantity of 1 m3 is:

  •  10 Imp./m3 — for the СГ16МТ-100-Р — СГ16МТ-650-Р, — for the СГ75МТ-160-Р — СГ75МТ-650-Р
  •  1 Imp./m3 — for the other meters.

The straight section length of the pipe-line should be not less than:

  •  2DN in front of the meter and 1 DN behind the meter in case of the weak disturbances (pipe bend, elbow, diffuser);
  •  5 DN in front of the meter and 3DN behind the meter in case of the strong disturbances (the pressure regulator, the pipe U-shape bend in different planes).
  • Provided the gas flow stabilizer (СПГ) is installed in front of the meter, auxiliary straight sections in front of the СПГ and behind the meter are not required.

    When the gas meters are assembled it is recommended to use: flanges of steel 09Г2С-Cв-4 GOST19281-89 for the СГ16MT as per GOST 12820-80, for the СГ75MT-1 as per GOST 12821-80; gaskets of rubberized asbestos fabric ПМБ GOST 481-80 to seal the flange connections of the СГ16MT, gaskets of aluminum as per GOST 21631-76 for the СГ75MT-1; pins of steel 35Х as per GOST 10494-80 technical requirements; nuts of steel 35Х GOST 10495-80.

    Calibration interval is 8 years.

    Warranty period is 24 months .

    Service life is not less than 12 years.

    The meter is in conformity with GOST 28724-90.

    The meter production is guaranteed by: Permit to Use No.РРС 00-29855; Industrial Safety Expert Review Conclusion No.1560 of 14.02.2008.; License to Manufacture and Repair of Metering Devices No. 004349-ИР; Type Approval Certificate RU.С.29.006.А No. 21547.

The meter sensitivity threshold is not more than
0.033 Qmax for the СГ16МТ-100 - Р
0.02 Qmax for the other versions.

The basic relative error limits of the meter at an ambient air temperature of plus (20±5) ºС should be:
with flow rate range 1:10:
± 1 % - within the flow rate range from Qmax to 0.2 Qmax;
± 2 % - within the flow rate range less than 0.2 Qmax to 0.1 Qmax;
with flow rate range 1:12.5:
± 1 % - within the flow rate range from Qmax to 0.1 Qmax;
± 2 % - within the flow rate range less than 0.1 Qmax to 0.08 Qmax;
with flow rate range 1:20:
± 1 % - within the flow rate range from Qmax to 0.2 Qmax;
± 2 % - within the flow rate range less than 0.1 Qmax to 0.05 Qmax;
with flow rate range 1:25:
± 1 % - within the flow rate range from Qmax to 0.05 Qmax;
± 2 % - within the flow rate range less than 0.05 Qmax to 0.04 Qmax;
with flow rate range 1:30:
± 1 % - within the flow rate range from Qmax to 0.05 Qmax;
± 2 % - within the flow rate range less than 0.05 Qmax to 0.03 Qmax.

Designation when placing an order

The СГ16МТ-Р and СГ75МТ-Р meters designation when placing an order and in documents for other products should consist of the meter base model designation comprising the pattern designation СГ, symbol 16 designating the measured medium pressure maximum value of 1.6 MPа (16 kgf/cm2) or symbol 75, designating the measured medium pressure maximum value of 7.5 MPa (75 kgf/cm2), symbol МТ (upgraded counting reducer), volume flow rate maximum value, symbol Р, designating the extended measurement range, digit 1- designating the meter version, designed for operation within the flow rate range 1:12.5 (for СГ16МТ-100-Р only), or digit 2 - designating the meter version, designed for operation within the flow rate range 1:20, or digit 3- designating the meter version, designed for operation within the flow rate range 1:25 (СГ16МТ-250-Р - СГ16МТ-650-Р, СГ75МТ-250-Р - СГ75МТ-650-Р) and within the range 1:30 (СГ16МТ-800-Р - СГ16МТ-4000-Р, СГ75МТ-800-Р СГ75МТ-4000-Р).
